What a fantastic four days at IFE

What a fantastic four days at the International Food Event earlier this week.

We were delighted to welcome Minister of State for Agriculture and Food David Heath MP onto the Select Lincolnshire exhibition stand on Monday; to be greeted by Deputy Leader of Lincolnshire County Council, Cllr Eddy Poll. Select Lincolnshire were one of the few stands the Minister visited during his tour of the show, and so we were especially pleased to receive him.

This year's IFE has been one of the busiest we can remember - and other notable guests to Select Lincolnshire include Waitrose, Compass, ASDA, British Airways, LEAF, The Telegraph... plus many more. Now the hard work starts again, following up on all the great leads gained for the Lincolnshire businesses we represented.

The Select Lincolnshire Food And Drink Awards

Congratulations to all of our winning and highly commended members from the 2012/2013 Awards. Celebrations took place at the Doubletree by Hilton in Lincoln on Thursday 7th February. Almost two hundred guests dined on a stunning locally sourced menu, and dinner was followed by an inspiring talk by Lincolnshire’s very own gold medalist paralympian Sophie Wells, and the Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire, Tony Worth.
