Tastes of Lincolnshire is a popular and successful scheme set up by Lincolnshire County Council, with an emphasis on the importance of locally sourced and produced food and drink. For the freshest, finest local produce look out for the Tastes of Lincolnshire logo at shops, places to eat and accommodation within the county.

Select Lincolnshire is the sister project to Tastes of Lincolnshire. The brand aims to showcase the range and quality of Lincolnshire produce and is a well established provenance marque for food, agriculture and horticulture businesses both within the county and nationwide.

The brands are now working together in partnership to highlight the importance of Lincolnshire as the jewel in the UK Food Industry's crown

The Food & Drink Expo 2012

We are now inviting expressions of interest from businesses to attend The Food and Drink Expo in March 2012.

The Select Lincolnshire & Tastes of Lincolnshire Partnership will be taking a sizeable stand space in the Regional Food Hall at the show. Our space spans an aisle and will be split into several smaller defined stands for our members to rent from us.

Food & Drink Expo featuring Farm Shop & Deli is the largest food and drink trade exhibition in the UK for 2012 - bringing together the grocery, foodservice, wholesale, manufacturing and speciality retail markets

The event has been running for over 20 years and attracts exhibitors and visitors from across the UK and internationally, and is perfectly placed in Birmingham’s NEC to offer 3 days in an environment specifically designed to help with the development of your business

Food & Drink Expo 2012 is of further benefit due to its co-location with a number of other leading trade events - Foodex, National Convenience Show and the Forecourt & Fuel Equipment Show - offering a rounded experience of the food and drink supply chain and opportunities to source new products and business ideas in just 3 days.

Wow - what a night!

The brand new DoubleTree by Hilton on Lincoln's Brayford Wharf was the glamorous setting for our Food and Drink Awards – where the 'who's who' of the Lincolnshire food scene gathered to celebrate this year's winning food producers and establishments.

The guests dined on Warm Cotehill Cheese salad, Lincoln Red Beef and Special Edition Chocolate Tart before listening to speaker Tim Nicol from BBC One's Village SOS.

The awards followed, and winning hotels, restaurants, and food producers took to the stage to collect their accolades. The atmosphere in the room was electric – and much cheering and celebration accompanied the winners!
